The Spiegelsaal was built in 1909 in Neo-Classicist style as a banqueting hall. It originally stood in the former Budge-Palais, a town villa in Harvestehuder Weg. For many years the Hamburg patrons of the arts Emma and Henry Budge held their dazzling social events in it. After being reconstructed on the initiative of the Elsbeth Weichmann Gesellschaft e.V., the Spiegelsaal today serves as a magnificent venue for public, private, social or cultural occasions such as receptions (up to 250 guests for stand-up receptions), concerts (for an audience of 150), product presentations and conferences.
